The trimphal arch of the emporer Maximillion was never actually built. But the designs for it still exist. The monument was intended as an actual portrait of the Emperor's army. And hundreds of soldiers actually posed in their real equipment for the portrait's shown. So this was a real soldier and a real sword. I have weighed much smaller German two-handed swords at almost twenty pounds. I wonder what this sword weighed?
